Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options, and in most instances treatment can be started that same day. However, complex treatment or medical issues may require that actual treatment be scheduled at a later date.
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation.
- Your endodontic referral slip.
- A list of medications you are presently taking, as well as your physician’s name and phone number.
- If you have dental insurance, bring your insurance information or card. This will save time, and allow us to estimate what your insurance carrier will pay toward your endodontic treatment.
Please alert the office if you have any medical conditions that may be of concern prior to treatment (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves or joints, rheumatic fever, etc.), or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medicines, blood thinners, bisphosphonates, etc.).
Sometimes medical clearance from your physician will be required before starting any endodontic treatment.
We ask that you arrive 15 minutes ahead of your appointment to complete all necessary paperwork. This will help us seat you as close to your appointed time as possible.
