A native of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Dr. David C. Gruber first graduated from the University of Michigan, School of Pharmacy in 1983. From there he attended dental school at Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, between 1983-1987. After completing another year of hospital based dental training at the University of Michigan Medical Center, Dr. Gruber became a member of the U.S. Public Health Service/Indian Health Service on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona between 1988-1996.
From 1996-1999 he attended the Texas A & M, Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas, Texas, where he received his MS in Oral Biology and a certificate in Endodontic specialty training. Dr. Gruber remained in Dallas working as an Endodontist in private practice between 1999-2012. Dr. Gruber then returned to Michigan, starting his own endodontic practice in Grand Rapids. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, Michigan Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and the West Michigan District Dental Society. In his spare time Dr. Gruber enjoys the outdoors, working on mosaic art projects, cooking, photography and reading.
